StepWare, Inc. has announced that AceReader Pro Deluxe, and AceReader Pro Deluxe Plus are "Certified For" Windows Vista. AceReader Pro teaches students, business executives, and readers of all ages to read faster.

"The program enhances reading speed and comprehension by training the eyes to properly scan electronic pages," said Bernie Marasco, President of StepWare. AceReader Pro Deluxe teaches you to break bad reading habits such as subvocalization (pronouncing the words in your mind as you read), and regression (reading passages more than once). It also helps expand your eye fixation zone so that you can read multiple words at a time.

AceReader Pro's text-to-speech add-on expands the usefulness of the software beyond its mainstream audience of grades 4 through adult. By pacing eye movement and reading words aloud, the program also helps kids in grades 1 through 3 learn to read. ESL and foreign language students can now hear the words as the text is flashed on the screen. Business people and other online readers can save time and increase productivity by having their computer read aloud their email and news. AceReader Pro uses AT&T's Natural Voices technology, which employs the highest-quality human sounding voices available.
