Deep Freeze 6.3 Has Arrived – Better, Stronger, Faster!
The latest version of the award-winning system integrity software boasts numerous interface and program enhancements, including the following showcase feature additions:
Deep Freeze Action Files – Customizable XML templates that enhance the Console's abilities. IT personnel can now interact with other programs via the Deep Freeze Console, and administrators will be able to create, edit, and share Action Files with other users. The first Action File that will be made available will allow for remote control via VNC.
Enhanced Scheduling – Immediate task execution, scheduled Send Message tasks, and schedules that run even when Deep Freeze Console is closed are just some of the latest additions.
Other new features include Restart on Logoff, enhanced Novell compatibility during Windows updates, and Server Service Manager Integration into Deep Freeze Console, with support for multiple ports. Also, administrators no longer need to be concerned about clearing out computer labs when Thawing workstations; the ability to lock workstation keyboards and mice on demand means IT can Thaw workstations at any time without the worry of users making system changes!
