FileMaker Pro 9 has been selected as one of the Reader's Choice Top 100 products for 2007-2008 in District Administration magazine, a publication for K12 leaders and administrators.
FileMaker Pro 9 enables users to create and automate databases, as well as share and report from them. New features include a Quick Start screen, conditional formatting, and the ability to e-mail a link to other users of the software. Users can create links and integrate live MS SQL server, Oracle, and My SQL data as if it were FileMaker-based data. The product line also includes FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced, which offers enhanced database design report and file maintenance tools, improved script debugger and data viewer, and FileMaker Server 9 and FileMaker Server 9 Advanced.
Recently released FileMaker Bento is the new personal database from FileMaker that's as easy to use as a Mac. From contacts and calendars, to projects and events, you can organize just about every type of information you have — all from one place.
With direct links to the Mac OS X Address Book and iCal, ready-to-use templates, and elegant themes, there's now an easy and stylish way to get organized. Just drag and drop or point and click to change the look of any form, and see information in a way that makes sense to you. Customize fonts, fields, colors, columns, shading and more.
FileMaker Bento is designed exclusively for Mac OS X Leopard. It takes advantage of many of the new features of Leopard, including live linking to iCal data, core animation, advanced find, Time Machine backups, and multimedia features.
