Say It, Rhyme It, Spell It helps students grasp the relationship between letter sounds and word patterns, providing the foundation to begin reading. Invite beginning readers to master saying, rhyming, and spelling short-vowel c-v-c words with this interactive Mac/Win CD. Students learn by correctly identifying pictures and reading words, such as bag, cap, and log. Helps students develop the foundation and skills needed to begin the reading process by showing the relationship between letter sounds and word patterns.
EZ Storywriter can be utilized in several ways. Students can write an original story or can opt for help writing a story. There is a tutorial for narrative, descriptive, and how-to stories. Tutorials guide students through the writing process with audio narration. A student may also choose from one of 10 story starters for each of the three story types (narrative, descriptive, and how-to).
As students log in to Tracking Down Parts of Speech, they encounter a hallway with several rooms. They must then enter a noun, verb, adjective, or adverb room to practice that part of speech in order to be ready to solve a case. After learning about the parts of speech, students choose a case to solve, such as The Mystery of the Creepy Caller. Each case begins with an audio introduction. Then, students practice one or more parts of speech.
